Cirencester Rotary Club Charity Golf Day 2025 Final Results:
We would like to thank all of the participants in this year’s Charity Golf Day, together we have raised in excess of £3,000 for the Cheltenham and Gloucester Hospitals Big Space Cancer Appeal.
Special thanks go to our sponsors this year, without whom holding the event would not have been possible. It was great to see the level of engagement in the clubhouse for our principal sponsor Siddington Park The Orangery, and for Redkite Solicitors who also popped up to help out at their BBQ. We hope you saw the signs around the course acknowledging the support from local businesses, not least Cain and Fuller for sponsoring the Hole In One competition, and Redkite Solicitors for sponsoring Beat The Pro on the 13th, staffed by Ryan Dix, PGA Professional Golfer.
Again, the event could not have been held without the tireless support of volunteers from Inner Wheel on the raffle, Xylem in the car park, numerous Rotary volunteers in the planning and execution of the event and friend of Rotary Nigel for handling the registration and handicap calculations to perfection !
The Texas Scramble format was a trial this year to enhance the inclusivity of the event and the feedback has been very positive. The top of the results table was very tightly bunched with only 1.3 shots between the top 5, and it took a countback to separate first and second places.
Final thanks go to Cirencester Golf Club for allowing us to hold the event on their magnificent course, to the Greenkeepers for presenting it in excellent condition despite the drought, and again to the Club for fielding a team of Juniors whom we were very pleased to sponsor in line with our Youth Development policy.
Please see the final results in the tables below, once again thanks from us all in Rotary and we hope to see you again next year !
