Historical Cirencester – A Different Perspective
The Rotary Club of Cirencester, supported by Cirencester Civic Society, is running a Photography Competition as part of the 2025 Cirencester History Festival in October.
The inaugural 2024 History Festival was a sell-out event, and this year’s version is sure to be even bigger, attracting speakers and visitors from all over the country.
The theme for the competition is “Historical Cirencester : A Different Perspective”, a title designed to motivate photography enthusiasts from near and far to take a new look at Cirencester’s rich local history to produce different and original works which combine their technical skills with their creative talents.
The competition is open to all, with different prizes for the under 16’s, 16 -18’s, and over 18’s age groups. Winning entries in each category will be displayed locally and online during the festival week which runs from 25th October until 1st November.
